Welcome to the Austrian Danube!
The Danube, Europe's most fascinating river, flows for a total of 2,860 kilometers (1,777 miles), part of the way through Austria, from Passau in the west to Hainburg in the east. The course of the grand river is dotted with towns rich in cultural points of interest and unique natural landscapes. In an intact environment visitors to Austria can choose from an almost endless variety of ways to relax and unwind: cycling, hiking, tennis, golf, horseback riding, and of course boating and ship excursions. Here no vacation wish remains unfulfilled.
Enjoy the diversity of the Austrian Danube region!
