| General description | Blaubeuren is called to be the pearl of the swabian alb. Blaubeuren lies in the impressive glacial valley of the river danube at the legendary Blautopf. The Blautopf seems to be the most beautiful source at the swabian alb and marks the entrance to a huge cave system. At the Blautopf lies the former benedictine convent, which survived through the centurys and conserves many historical treasures. |
